Round Robin Schedule Generator

Good round robin scheduling has to satisfy several rules at once, and doing it by hand gets painful fast. No fixture may repeat. No team can appear twice in the same round. An odd team count needs exactly one bye per round, shared out evenly. Hand-drawn schedules fail in predictable ways: a forgotten pairing discovered in the last week, one team scheduled twice in a round, or byes landing on the same unlucky team every time. Each of these is a structural error that a round robin schedule generator cannot make.

Deterministic generation has a second benefit: reproducibility. The same list of teams always produces the same schedule, so the sheet pinned at the venue, the copy in your email and the CSV in your spreadsheet never disagree about who plays whom in round four.
